The Jordan Applied University College of Hospitality and Tourism Education. In 1980 the Jordanian Government established the Ammon College for Hospitality and Tourism Education in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the International Labor Organization (ILO), and managed the college for two years. After this two year period the responsibilities were handed over to the Jordanian Ministry of Education. Ammon College began by offering Diplomas specialized in Hotel Management.
