Kostas Fotis

Kostas was born and raised in Germany by Greek parents. After 23 years of professional experience holding key positions in the fields of Facility Service Management, Operations and Airline In-flight Catering, Kostas joined Globe Williams International in 2012 as Regional Operations Director E.M.E.A. with challenging appointments in Jordan, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece. In January 2015 he has successfully launched Globe Williams Dubai and has assumed the position as Chief Operating officer – COO. Kostas started his professional career back in 1989 with a Swiss international airline catering firm where he shortly was promoted to Operations Manager and Deputy Unit Manager for the Munich, later the Athens and Hamburg units. In 2000 he took over the position as Project Manager with a British multinational professional services provider. He was responsible for the entire organization and launch of the company’s airline catering unit at the new international airport in Athens and subsequently became the unit’s General Manager. In May 2005 a major German group operating worldwide within the Total Facility Service Management sector offered Kostas a contract as Sales & Commercial Manager and Member of the Board for the group in Greece; soon he was appointed Group President and CEO. Kostas main fields of expertise are business and marketing strategies, operations planning and development of tailor-made solutions, contract negotiation and portfolio expansion. Kostas speaks fluently English, German and Greek. He has strong interest in economics, history and politics and considers anthropocentricism as his top priority when doing business. He is married to an exceptional lady called Michele and is the proud father of one daughter and two sons. |
