The Hellenic Business Association (Serbia) with the support of Globe Williams Serbia recently hosted a heartwarming Christmas dinner that not only brought together 80 members and representatives of the Greek business community in Belgrade but also highlighted the dedication and efforts of our General Manager, Alexios Gkegkios. Held on December 15th, 2023, this festive gathering was made possible with the generous sponsorship of Globe Williams, one of the esteemed member companies in the Association.
The presence of Mrs. Maria Levanti, the Ambassador of Greece, and Mr. Andreas Fotiou, the Ambassador of Cyprus, added a special touch of honor to the event. We were also privileged to welcome Mr. Antonios Katepodis, Head of the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Embassy of Greece in Belgrade, as well as Mr. Ioannis Doumos, the Mayor of Katerini.
For the third consecutive year, this Christmas dinner held a philanthropic mission close to its heart. A generous amount will be donated to the “SOS Children’s Village Kraljevo” organization. In January 2024, the association’s representatives will visit the children’s village to officially present this donation.
The Serbian Globe Williams entity extends its heartfelt gratitude to the companies that generously contributed nearly 80 prizes, consisting of various products and services, for the raffle. We are also deeply appreciative of all the attendees, including the representatives of the member companies, who actively participated in the raffle, thus contributing to the successful realization of this noble initiative.
We look forward to many more such endeavors and hope to continue spreading joy and support in the years to come.
